Humility of Mr. Dravid

 "In India when you become a player as big as Virat Kohli, people have such high expectations. When I played and used to bat with Sachin Tendulkar, I saw the same. Everyone wants him to score a century, score runs. And this happens because he has set a standard. He has scored centuries so regularly that people don't realise how tough it is to score a hundred. And then obviously, the pressure builds," Dravid told the broadcasters at the end of the India vs Australia 2023 Test series.

Dravid had once average around 58 in test cricket ,even greater than Tendulkar in the same team.Dravid had faced more balls than Tendulkar inspite of the fact that Tendulkar had played 36 tests more than Dravid.Dravid had 36 test hundreds in test cricket.Inspite of these,he is considering Kohli equivalent to Tendulkar and also Kohli much ahead of him.But in test cricket,Dravid has always an edge over Tendulkar.So this is almost unfair to bring Kohli in line with Tendulkar and Dravid.But Dravid is Dravit.He is so humble and beautiful that he has never learnt to boast about himself. In December 2011, he became the first non-Australian cricketer to deliver the "Bradman Oration" in Canberra, Australia.And Dravid truly deserved this.He is among the best in the history of the game.There are today a few cricketers in the world who have crossed the limit of 10000 runs in ODI cricket.But Dravid is the exception because we didn't get to know when he had crossed the milestone.Otherwise all the other cricketers had usually a large roar before they crossed the limit of 10000 runs in ODI cricket.In real,Dravid was the run machine.Without any loud and noise,he had contributed 24177 runs to the Indian team with a "The Wall" like attitude.He had such a wonderful defensive technique that no other had among the top run getters in the world cricket.And one important fact I also want to add that he used to sweat more than other humans.You have to give credit to Dravid,The Great Man for his incredible performance.
