Kohli has to score runs

 Kohli can't defend for long.Kohli requires runs to survive on ground.And yesterday Kohli has scored 59 runs after a drought of 424 days in the longer version of the game.Kohli has to score runs more and more.And the more runs he will score,he will appear more stable and composed during his batting.He is not Pujara and he needs not to be like him.He has to be more attacking in his approach.He has to dominate over the spin bowling.And the great thing about Kohli in the longer version of the game is that he used to score maximum runs along the ground.He never used to go for lofted shots.That's a premium thing about this man.He has been able to score than 25000 runs in international cricket and he has achieved this by playing quality cricket.He is one of the greatest in T 20 cricket and you can easily see the array of shots he used to play even in T20 cricket,is something miraculous.He has no such intent in going for sixes each and every ball.Inspite of this fact,his strike rate is phenomenal in every form of the game.He is truly a master of the game.Only hope we can do that he will be able to extend his innings today.His average in test cricket has dropped to around 48.So he surely requires a lot of runs in this form of the game with something good average.His average is still among the greats of the game.But he is Kohli,he has to achieve something extra.

After the end of first session,Kohli is not out on 88.This is the determination is required from a player of such a high calibre.He has to target a double hundred from here.

Kohli has completed 100 runs with only 5 boundaries.He has scored 5 boundaries last day and today in his last 41 runs,he did not take the help of any boundary to reach the milestone.Truly one of the best innings ever played by Kohli.Patience and determination have been the main features of his innings.It is just a privilege to watch this innings.A master innings from a master batsman.He has now 75 centuries next only to Tendulkar.Hoping he will complete double century in this match and one day,he will cross the mark of 100 centuries.

Kohli was not able to score a double hundred here because wickets were tumbling from the other side.But his innings was surely among the best of his innings.His innings was very similar to the innings played by Usman Khwaja in the first innings.
