Problem with Indian Team

When you lose a Test match there are a lot of things which didn't go our way. Obviously we didn't bat well in the first innings and we understand how important it is to put runs on the board. Once they got a 80-90 run lead, we had to produce another innings with the bat and we were not able to do that. If we had batted well in the first innings then things would have been different. We haven't thought about it (Ahemdabad Test), we just finished the Test and we have some time to think about it. We need to understand no matter what the pitches are we have to come out and do the job. When you are playing on challenging pitches you have to be brave. I felt we allowed their bowlers to bowl to one particular spot, not taking any credit away especialy Lyon, but when a bowler is doing that you have to come up with different plans. One odd game can happen like that and this game was all about that. We want few guys stand up and put their hand up to take the team through. You will falter in your plans and that's what happened in this game.

1)Why didn't your whole team bat well in the first innings?This was an Indian pitch and you all have grown here playing on spin tracks.It is happening from sometime.Indians are not playing spin well especially Virat Kohli.You have to accept the fact and as soon as you will accept the fact, problems will perish.Real issue is that your whole team is not able to handle spin bowling for which Indians are always considered the best.

2)Same problem in the second innings.Why???Again the top order failed as always.This is not new today.This is happening from sometime.If there would not come the extraordinary performance of Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja especially in batting,we were nowhere in the situation to win the match.Accept the fact that your top order is failing consistently.

3)Pitches???Do you think that this pitch was unplayable?Australians had batted well in the first innings especially their top order against your quality spin bowling??It was not appearing unplayable for them.Same in the second innings,they won by 9 wickets.If India would be in their place,India had surely lost 5 wickets in achieving the target.

4)This was an odd game??? Your are not listening.You are not interested in accepting the fact that your top order was not performing from some time.The only difference was that the lower order didn't perform this time.No miraculous performance from Axar and Jadeja and you lost the match.If Axar,Ashwin and Jadeja would be able to add 70 runs more, the situation would be entirely different.And if India would win the match,again the failure of your top order to deliver remained hidden.

5)Most important:

This year Kohli had been able to score only 111 runs.And his average is around 20 from last three years.

Pujara had dropped his average from 54 to 44.In the last 50 test matches of Pujara,his average is around 30.

Lokesh Rahul was not only the problem.Kohli,Pujara and Rahane had been the problems too.By chance,Rahane was not in the team.Otherwise this team would be more vulnerable.

Experiment with Srikar Bharath was not going to work.

It was also appearing that the whole Indian team was waiting for IPL.No such interest in winning the present test match especially Virat Kohli.Very poor attitude shown by Virat Kohli in all the 5 last test matches.
