I Seek Liberation
I seek liberation,
From these bonds, these boundaries,
That hold me tight,
In which my soul is confined.
I want to soar,
Towards the endless sky,
With open wings, without restraint,
Without fear, without burden.
I seek liberation,
From this worry, this fear, this sorrow,
That each day makes my breath
A little heavier, a little harder.
I yearn for freedom,
From thoughts that hinder me,
That stand in the path of dreams,
Like obstacles I cannot see.
I seek liberation,
From the darkness that fills each corner,
That keeps me away from new light,
And dims my spirit every day.
I crave that peace,
Which absorbs every pain,
Which turns each tear to a smile,
And brings me back to myself.
I seek liberation,
From the cage I built myself,
Where I am both prisoner and guard,
I want to be free from myself.
Yes, I seek liberation,
From every bond, every illusion,
That keeps me from my true self,
I seek nothing but liberation...
