The Heart Is a Bird

 The Heart Is a Bird

The heart is a bird, free and unbound,

Seeking its dreams where no limits are found.

It soars through skies, endless and vast,

Carrying hopes of a future unmasked.

Each beat a melody, a song of flight,

Chasing horizons bathed in light.

Neither chains nor cages can hold it down,

It dances with winds, away from the ground.

Its wings are woven with courage untamed,

A tapestry of storms it has calmly claimed.

When it rests on branches to pause and breathe,

It gathers strength for the skies beneath.

It dreams of worlds beyond the clouds,

Of stars that whisper through heavenly shrouds.

Though storms may threaten and shadows may loom,

The heart’s resilience always finds room.

In lonely valleys, it sings its tune,

Under the sun or the silver moon.

A rhythm of life beats deep in its chest,

Teaching us courage through every test.

With wings of dreams, it rises anew,

Unshaken by failures, steadfast and true.

Be it rain of sorrow or joy’s warm ray,

The bird within us finds its way.

In love's fragrant garden, it flutters with glee,

Humming sweet songs of eternity.

Yet, when separation's ache takes hold,

It perches quietly, brave yet cold.

This bird knows the skies are its true home,

A place to wander, a space to roam.

Through pain and joy, it learns to ascend,

For the heart is a bird that will never bend.

So let’s soar high with its boundless grace,

Embrace our dreams, and life's vast space.

The heart is a bird, it teaches us this:

To rise above, and to chase our bliss.
