Struggle is Life...
Perhaps I may seem wrong to say,
That we wish to erase all suffering today.
To free the trees, the creatures, the land,
From every sorrow, by our own hand.
To shield them from the biting cold,
To keep them safe, both young and old.
To shelter them from summer's heat,
To guard them from every painful beat.
But if the world were free from all pain,
Tell me, what would truly remain?
If hardship vanished, struggles ceased,
Would life still have meaning, or be deceased?
It is our trials that shape our way,
It is through storms we see the day.
Had everything been simple, clear,
Would life have lasted all these years?
A river carves its path through stone,
Mountains stand tall by struggles alone.
The earth is nurtured by toil and sweat,
It’s in hardship that stars are set.
If all was granted without a fight,
Who would cherish morning’s light?
If hunger never touched a soul,
Would we value food’s vital role?
If the sun lost its burning might,
Would we bask in its golden light?
If darkness never graced the sky,
Would stars still shine and mesmerize?
Pain and trials shape our way,
Each struggle holds a lesson to stay.
Through hardships, history stands tall,
Every era has its rise and fall.
Buddha found wisdom through deep meditation,
Rama learned through exile's tribulation.
Sita bore trials, yet stood strong,
Krishna turned chaos into right and wrong.
Struggles make us truly alive,
Through tests and trials, we thrive.
Had life been easy, prearranged,
Would we have strived, would we have changed?
A fish that swims with the tide is weak,
Its strength is shown when it swims unique.
Hardship teaches, molds, refines,
From deepest darkness, the brightest shines.
Pain makes us feel, makes us kind,
Struggles sharpen heart and mind.
In every challenge, a new road lies,
In every darkness, hope will rise.
So let us embrace life’s endless test,
For struggle itself makes life the best.
Through trials and pain, we carve our fate,
It’s hardship that makes life truly great.
