The Uncertainty of Being...

 The Uncertainty of Being

The moment they call out your name,

You shift, you bend, never the same.

Like echoes lost in endless space,

A ripple forms, a change takes place.

Once unknown, you stood so free,

Untouched by eyes that wished to see.

But now their gaze, so sharp, so bright,

Has shaped your form in different light.

Like Heisenberg's uncertain lore,

To know is to disturb much more.

The self they seek, the self they find,

Is never still, never aligned.

Yet in this flux, a truth remains,

You are not bound by past refrains.

For every glance, for every claim,

You rise anew, yet stay the same.
