I Want to Become Nagarjuna...
I Want to Become Nagarjuna
I want to become Nagarjuna—
not just a poet of words,
but a poet of struggles too.
Where the farmer’s eyes
carry unfinished sleep,
where the worker’s hands
hold half-baked bread,
there I will prepare
the soil of my poetry.
I want to become Nagarjuna—
to stand among the crowd
and hold a mirror to power,
to crack the towers of lies
with the blows of my verses.
Let my letters smell
like the sweat of labor,
let my rhythms breathe
like the lungs of the people,
let my voice flow
clear and deep like a river.
I want to become Nagarjuna—
carrying both
the simplicity of folk songs
and the fire of rebellion,
awakening every page
with the pulse of the street.
